Dennis Osadebay University, Asaba, Delta State, has received a total of ₦22,773,400 from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The disbursement, made on June 4, 2026, covers the full statutory charges of 96 verified student beneficiaries, according to details released on the payment.
The intervention is expected to ease the financial burden on the beneficiaries, enabling them to continue their academic pursuits without interruption.
NELFUND said the payment reflects the Federal Government’s commitment to expanding access to higher education by ensuring that eligible students receive financial support for their studies under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The fund has continued to disburse tuition payments to tertiary institutions across the country as more verified applicants are processed under the student loan scheme.
