Babcock University has received commendation for the discipline and exemplary conduct of its students during the recently concluded Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB) examinations.
The commendation was given by Prof. Andrew Akala, Professor of Space Technology in the Department of Physics, University of Lagos, following a one-week supervisory assignment at the university on behalf of JUPEB.
During a courtesy visit to the University President/Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Afolarin Ojewole, Prof. Akala praised the institution for the orderly conduct of the examinations and the discipline displayed by its students.
Receiving the commendation on behalf of the President/Vice-Chancellor, the Senior Vice President, Academics, Prof. Jonathan Nwosu, said the positive feedback reflects Babcock University’s continued commitment to academic excellence, discipline and integrity.
Dr. Gideon Olanrewaju, Director of the Centre for Foundation Studies, also described the examination exercise as successful, noting that the visiting supervisor was particularly impressed with the way the process was conducted.
