Inmates at the Abakaliki Correctional Center in Ebonyi State have turned a new leaf through a unique vocational training initiative in paint making and design.
According to a post by the foundation online
This project, supported by the Nigeria Youth Futures Fund (NYFF), equipped participants with practical skills in creating vibrant paints and designing breathtaking murals.
The center’s formerly dull walls now shine with color and artistry, reflecting the creativity and hard work of the inmates.
Beyond beautification, the program has fostered self-esteem, confidence, and a renewed sense of purpose among participants.
This initiative highlights the transformative power of rehabilitation through education, providing inmates with tools to reintegrate into society while making a positive impact on their surroundings.
