The Foursquare National Scholarship is a merit-based program established by the Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria to support indigent students pursuing secondary and tertiary education in Nigeria. The scholarship covers full educational expenses, including tuition, accommodation, and living expenses, until graduation, provided recipients maintain the required academic standards.
Eligibility Requirements:
Financial Need: Applicants must provide verifiable proof of financial inability to meet educational expenses.
Institution Enrollment:
Secondary school applicants must be enrolled in state-owned institutions.
Undergraduate applicants must have valid admission to federal or state universities, polytechnics, or tertiary institutions.
Students of McPherson University are also eligible to apply.
Academic Performance:
Undergraduate applicants from 200 level and above must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 5.0 scale (Second Class Upper).
Secondary school applicants (SS1 – SS3) must have a minimum cumulative percentage of 80% in their previous sessional examinations.
Age Limit:
Undergraduate applicants should not be older than 27 years.
Secondary school applicants should not be older than 20 years.

Scholarship motivation letter written by the applicant.
Birth certificate.
WAEC result (for fresh undergraduates).
JAMB and Post-JAMB results (for fresh undergraduates).
Admission letter (for fresh undergraduates).
Result of previous academic session (for current undergraduates).
Application Process:

2. Aptitude Test: Qualified applicants will be contacted to participate in a Computer-Based Test (CBT). A minimum score of 75% is required to progress in the selection process.
3. Oral Interview: Successful candidates from the CBT will be invited for an oral interview with an independent panel.
4. Verification: The claims and documents of applicants will undergo a thorough verification process to ensure integrity and fairness.
5. Award Notification: Candidates who successfully pass the verification process will be notified of their scholarship awards.
