Fellowship Details:
Host: Mastercard Foundation
Eligibility: Open to students and recent graduates from African post-secondary institutions
Program Delivery: Online and flexible, with a commitment of at least 10 hours per week recommended
Language: Program is conducted in English, with some mentorship available in French
Key Benefits:
Entrepreneurial Training: Delivered by Queen’s University faculty using the MIT Disciplined Entrepreneurship framework
Mentorship & Networking: Access to mentors, industry leaders, and Queen’s University’s entrepreneurial alumni
Micro-Credentials: Certification in Entrepreneurship from Queen’s University for course completion
Financial Support: Up to 60 fellows will receive a $500 CAD stipend; finalists can win up to $15,000 CAD in a pitch competition
Eligibility Criteria:
1. Must be a student or recent graduate from any African post-secondary institution.
2. Should be working on a business or planning to start one.
3. Commitment to dedicating time weekly to complete assignments and progress through the program.
