Role Opportunity:: HR & Admin Manager | VI, Lagos | Onsite | 6m+ Annual Net
Our client, a fast-growing organization in the Technology / Digital Platforms sector, mandates Recruten to source for an experienced HR & Admin Manager. He/she will take full ownership of human capital operations and administrative shared services. This is a hands-on, execution-heavy role requiring independent judgment, firm enforcement of standards, and operational discipline across the organization.
The role is responsible for workforce effectiveness, performance management, compliance, and office operations with minimal supervision. This is not a support role. It demands strong judgment, execution rigour, and the ability to lead HR and admin functions in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Human Capital Leadership & Control
Own and enforce HR policies and conduct standards; drive performance management with clear targets and consequences; lead workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and retention; serve as authority on employee relations and disciplinary matters; ensure compliance with labor laws and governance standards.
2. Payroll, Benefits & Compliance Oversight
Oversee payroll accuracy and timeliness; manage compensation, benefits, and statutory remittances; ensure compliance with pensions, taxes, insurance, and HR regulations; maintain accurate, audit-ready HR records.
3. Administration & Shared Services Management
Own office administration, facilities, and shared services; manage premises, safety, utilities, assets, vendors, contracts, and fleet with cost discipline; enforce administrative controls and procedures.
4. Execution & Operational Excellence
Deliver corporate events and staff programs; execute leadership initiatives with speed and precision; proactively resolve people risks and operational gaps; provide regular HR and admin performance reports.
Experience & Background
● Minimum of 5 years’ experience in HR Operations, Administration, or Shared Services at the managerial level.
● Experience in technology, digital platforms, or growth-stage environments is an advantage.
● Proven ability to enforce policies and drive performance discipline.
Technical & Functional Competence
Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and compliance; experience with payroll, benefits, facilities, vendors, and assets; ability to design and improve HR/admin processes; strong documentation and reporting skills.
