The Ministry of Education has made notable progress in its first and second-quarter performance assessments, but challenges persist, according to a report presented by Ms. Hadiza Bala Usman, Special Adviser to the President on Policy Coordination.
The presentation highlighted achievements in advancing the Presidential Implementation Priorities and Ministerial Deliverables, alongside areas requiring improvement, such as infrastructure development and equitable access to education.
Speaking on the report, the Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to addressing the gaps.
“Every challenge presents an opportunity to do more. Together, we will build a resilient education system for all,” he said.
Efforts to meet national education targets remain on course.
