The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has delisted 23 Computer-Based Test (CBT) centres across Nigeria following technical deficiencies observed during the 2026 Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

The Board also issued warnings to several other centres with minor issues, while one centre has been barred from participating in any future JAMB examinations.
The Mock UTME, designed to help candidates familiarise themselves with the CBT environment, also serves as a platform for JAMB to assess its operational readiness and evaluate the performance of accredited centres.
According to the Board, its internal review revealed that some centres failed to meet the required technical and operational standards. As a result, JAMB said it took decisive action to ensure that only compliant and fully prepared centres participate in the main UTME.

The affected centres cut across several states:
Abia: Micben Seat of Wisdom Academy, Umunteke Asa (ICT Hall), Ukwa West
Anambra: Bishop Crowther Seminary CBT Centre, Awka; The Oracle Lens, Nnokwa
Bayelsa: Derby’s Young ICT Centre, Yenagoa
Delta: Avid ICT Solutions CBT Centre (ICE Asaba); Brightfield School CBT, Ekpan; Conarina Maritime Academy, Abraka
Edo: Daniet Global Resources, Benin City; Moses and Grace College of Health Sciences CBT Centre, Benin
FCT: De-Lite CBT Centre, Maitama; Zulqud Consult Ltd CBT Centre, Lugbe
Lagos: Florin High School, Ejigbo; Folbob CBT Centre, Ibeju-Lekki; Great Kezino College CBT Centre, Ikorodu; Obans CBT Centre, Ikorodu; Teesas Learning and CBT Centre, Lekki
Ogun: Braingate Model Schools CBT Centre, Arepo; Greenhills Academy, Itele
Osun: Oduduwa University CBT Centre, Ile-Ife
Oyo: Lasting Glory Schools CBT Centre, Ibadan; Nesam International School CBT Centre, Ibadan; SAF Polytechnic CBT Centre, Iseyin
Plateau: Rabjib Computer Academy, Jos
Centres Placed on Warning
JAMB also issued warnings to several CBT centres across states including Abia, Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Benue, Cross River, Delta, Edo, Enugu, FCT, Imo, Kaduna, Kano, Kogi, Kwara, Lagos, Nasarawa, Niger, Ogun, Ondo, Osun, Oyo, Plateau, Rivers, and Taraba.
These centres were found to have minor technical issues and are expected to address them promptly or risk further sanctions.
Centre Barred from Future Exams
One centre in Lagos—Ha-Shem Academy, Yaba—has been declared unfit for any future JAMB examination.
JAMB’s Position
JAMB emphasised that the measures are part of its commitment to maintaining the integrity, credibility, and smooth conduct of its examinations.
The Board reiterated that only centres that meet its strict operational and technical requirements will be allowed to participate in the 2026 UTME and subsequent examinations.
It also warned centre operators to ensure full compliance with its standards, noting that any breach could lead to delisting, non-participation, or outright disqualification from future exercises.
