The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially announced the commencement of registration for the 2025 General Certificate Examination (GCE) for private candidates.
According to the council, the registration portal is now open, and interested candidates across Nigeria can begin the process online. The examination body emphasized that the registration will be strictly online and urged candidates to complete their registration early to avoid last-minute rush and possible system congestion.
In a statement released by WAEC, candidates are required to pay the prescribed registration fee and upload all necessary details, including a passport photograph and valid bio-data.
The 2025 GCE will be conducted in urban and semi-urban centers nationwide, with WAEC assuring that adequate measures are in place to ensure the integrity and smooth conduct of the examination.
