The Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB) has announced the commencement of applications for new teaching positions across the state through its official recruitment portal.
In a statement issued on Monday, the Executive Chairman of LASUBEB said the exercise was approved by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu to strengthen the state’s education workforce and improve learning outcomes in public schools.
“This is a unique opportunity for NCE holders, B.A (Ed), B.Sc (Ed), B.Ed, HND+PGDE, BA+PGDE, and B.Sc+PGDE graduates to build a career in teaching and contribute meaningfully to qualitative service delivery in Lagos State,” the statement read.
Applicants are required to apply strictly online via https://subebjobs.lagosstate.gov.ng, while physical submissions will not be accepted. The board also warned that the recruitment process is free, cautioning applicants against paying money to individuals or groups claiming to influence the process.
According to LASUBEB, required documents include O’ Level certificates (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB), NCE or Degree certificates, and NYSC discharge or exemption certificates, where applicable. However, notifications or statements of results older than two years will not be accepted.
The portal will remain open until October 14, 2025, after which applications will close.
