Scholarship Overview
The University of Exeter Green Futures Scholarship provides a fully funded opportunity for exceptional international students from low and lower-middle-income countries to pursue a one-year, full-time, campus-based Master’s degree at the University of Exeter, UK, for the 2025/26 academic session.
This scholarship covers full tuition fees and provides a living stipend, enabling scholars to advance their academic and career aspirations in sustainability-related fields.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this prestigious scholarship, applicants must:
1. Be classified as an International student for tuition fee purposes.
2. Hold citizenship from a low or lower-middle-income country (as listed in the eligibility table).
3. Have an offer to study one of the eligible Master’s programmes at the University of Exeter for the 2025/26 academic year (starting September 2025).
4. Have achieved (or expect to achieve) a UK first-class equivalent in their undergraduate degree.
5. Not have previously studied or worked in a high-income country.

Application Process – Step by Step
To apply for the University of Exeter Green Futures Scholarship, follow these steps:
1. Apply for Admission:
Submit an application for one of the eligible Master’s programmes at the University of Exeter.
Ensure you apply before March 29, 2025, to secure an offer in time.
2. Complete the Scholarship Application Form:
Once you have received your admission offer, fill out the Green Futures Scholarship Application Form.
Prepare a personal statement (maximum 500 words) answering the following questions:
What is your interest in your chosen programme, and how does it relate to a sustainable future in your home country?
How have you contributed to sustainability initiatives or development efforts in your home country?
What do you hope to gain from studying at the University of Exeter, and how will the scholarship support your aspirations?
What are your career goals after graduation, and how will you maintain a connection with the University of Exeter?
3. Submit Your Application:
The scholarship application deadline is April 30, 2025.
Shortlisted applicants may be invited for a virtual interview before final selections.
4. Notification of Outcome:
Successful applicants will be notified by June 16, 2025.
