Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has praised the remarkable achievements of two students from the state who excelled in the just-concluded National Tax Debate in Abuja.
Hamdalat Eniola Agboola from Queen Elizabeth School, Ilorin, emerged as the overall winner of the debate, securing 85% to claim the championship title. Her outstanding performance earned her the prestigious position of National Ambassador for the Society of Women in Taxation (SWIT) for 2025. Additionally, Muminat Ayomide Abdulganiyu of Government Girls Secondary School, Oke Sunna, Ilorin, secured fourth place in the competition with an impressive 78%.
In a statement released by his spokesperson, Rafiu Ajakaye, Governor AbdulRazaq commended the students for their stellar performance on a national platform, reinforcing Kwara State’s reputation as a hub for academic excellence and young talents. He also extended congratulations to their parents, schools, and the state chapter of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) for their contributions to the students’ success.
The governor expressed confidence in the bright future of both Hamdalat and Muminat, wishing them continued academic and professional success.
