🧩 About the ENS International Selection
The ENS selection process consists of two stages:
1. Application review (pre-selection)
2. Written and oral examinations — Arts & Humanities applicants take both written and oral tests, while Science applicants take oral tests only.
Each year, ENS offers 10 positions in Sciences and 10 positions in Arts & Humanities.
The program welcomes students who will enter either:
The 3rd year of a Bachelor’s program (Licence 3), or
The 1st year of a Master’s program (Master 1).
🎯 ENS Scholarships 2026 – Eligibility Criteria
To qualify, applicants must:
Be under 26 years old at the time of application.
Apply only once to the International Selection.
Have not lived in France for more than 10 months during the current or previous academic years.
Have completed at least one year of undergraduate studies at a non-French university by the application date.
Have completed at least two years of undergraduate studies at a non-French university by September 1, 2026.

Admission decisions are based on performance in these tests.
Applicants interested in the Department of Cognitive Studies (DEC) can apply through either the Science or Arts & Humanities tracks. It is recommended to contact the DEC for guidance on the most appropriate application form.
