Eighteen players have reported to the Super Eagles’ camp in Rabat, Morocco, as Nigeria intensifies preparations for Thursday’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying playoff against Gabon.
The team opened camp on Sunday, with full training commencing on Monday under new head coach Eric Chelle.
Among the early arrivals are team captain William Troost-Ekong, Calvin Bassey, Wilfred Ndidi, Stanley Nwabali, and Alex Iwobi.
Also in camp are Samuel Chukwueze, Moses Simon, Chidera Ejuke, Tolu Arokodare, Olakunle Olusegun, Benjamin Fredrick, and Chidozie Awaziem, among others.
Three additional players are expected to join before the crucial fixture.
