Ministry of Primary & Secondary Education, Zimbabwe, Hon. Prof. Torerayi Moyo, today received 8 000 Starlink Internet Kits from the Minister of ICT, Postal and Courier Services, Hon. Tatenda Mavetera, under the Presidential Internet Scheme.
The handover marks a major boost to digital connectivity in schools across the country, particularly in remote and underserved areas, enabling learners and teachers to access online learning platforms, digital resources, and e-government services.
Hon. Mavetera said the donation is a strategic intervention aimed at building a digitally inclusive education system that leaves no one and no place behind.
In accepting the donation, Hon. Moyo described it as “a significant leap forward in our commitment to enhancing digital education within our schools and empowering our students with vital resources for the information age.”
This initiative reflects Government’s commitment to a digitally empowered education system, ensuring all learners can benefit from technology-enhanced teaching and learning.
