Students of Kingsway Academy on Thursday welcomed the Minister of Education and Technical and Vocational Training, Glenys Hanna Martin, during an official visit to the school, marked by colourful celebrations and cultural performances.
The visit, which took place on March 5, 2026, saw students receiving the minister and members of her executive team with a vibrant cultural display featuring traditional dance and drum performances. The event created an atmosphere of excitement across the campus as learners showcased their talents in honour of the visiting delegation.
Also present at the gathering were the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Education, Lorraine Armbrister, and Director Dominique McCartney-Russell, who joined the minister in interacting with students and school officials during the visit.
The assembly concluded with students presenting a variety of gifts to the minister and her team, a gesture that symbolised appreciation for their visit and continued commitment to supporting education and youth development.
