The Convener of the Let There Be Teachers (LTBT) Conference, Oluwaseyi Anifowose, on March 18, 2026, held a strategic meeting with Mrs. Lai Koiki, Chairperson of the Association of Private Educators of Nigeria (APEN), to discuss the vision and direction of the 2026 edition of the conference.
The engagement focused on strengthening the Let There Be Teachers Movement, a national initiative aimed at supporting and elevating educators across both public and private school systems. Discussions also highlighted ways the upcoming conference can provide tangible value not only to classroom teachers but also to school leaders and proprietors within Nigeria’s private education sector.
A key moment during the visit was the presentation of the official Guinness World Record plaque অর্জed at the previous conference. The recognition underscored the growing influence of the movement and served as a catalyst for deeper conversations around collaboration, capacity building, and professional development within the education space.
Both parties expressed optimism about the emerging partnership, noting its potential to foster a more inclusive, empowered, and forward-looking education system in Nigeria.
The 2026 Let There Be Teachers Conference is expected to build on past successes while expanding its reach and impact across the country’s diverse education landscape.
