The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has announced the return of its flagship campus pageant, Mr & Miss UNILAG 2026, with the event scheduled to hold on Friday, July 17, 2026, at the University’s Indoor Sports Hall.
Organised by the Student Affairs Division, Office of the Vice-Chancellor, the annual event will begin at 4:00 p.m. and is expected to bring together students, staff, alumni, sponsors and invited guests for an evening celebrating creativity, fashion, talent and youth culture.
Now in its fifth edition, Mr & Miss UNILAG has evolved into one of the institution’s biggest student events, showcasing contestants’ confidence, originality and leadership potential alongside performances in music, dance and fashion.
According to the university, the pageant is designed to celebrate the vibrant spirit of UNILAG students while providing a platform for self-expression and healthy competition among participants vying for the coveted Mr and Miss UNILAG titles.
The university encouraged members of the campus community and the general public to attend and experience what it described as the “UNILAG Spirit” through an evening of entertainment, talent and cultural expression.
The event underscores UNILAG’s commitment to promoting extracurricular activities that foster creativity, personal development and student engagement beyond the classroom.
