Adebanjo Samuel Oluolamide has emerged as the overall best graduating student of Lagos State University for the 2025/2026 academic session, graduating with an outstanding 4.97 CGPA out of 5.00. He has also received a N10 million cash prize for the achievement.

1. He studied Aerospace Engineering
Oluolamide is a graduate of the Department of Aerospace Engineering, Lagos State University, where he earned First-Class Honours.
2. He graduated with a 4.97 CGPA
He finished with a 4.97 out of 5.00 CGPA, making him the overall best graduating student at LASU for the 2025/2026 academic session.
3. He has been recognised as Scholar of the Year
Before his graduation, Oluolamide was named Scholar of the Year at the AESA-LASU Dinner. He described the recognition as his second Scholar of the Year award during his undergraduate studies.
4. He is involved in research
Beyond his academic results, Oluolamide was involved in research and academic publications. He also disclosed that two of his research papers were accepted for presentation at the Society of Petroleum Engineers’ NAICE 2026 conference in Lagos.
5. He received N10 million for his achievement
The Sunbeth Excellence Partnership Programme presented Oluolamide with a N10 million cash prize during LASU’s 29th and 30th combined convocation. The award was given to recognise his academic excellence and encourage innovation among students.
His achievement places him among the standout graduates from LASU’s 2025/2026 academic session and highlights the recognition that can come with sustained academic excellence.
