Osun State University (UNIOSUN) has reminded prospective students seeking admission for the 2026/2027 academic session that its Post-UTME and Direct Entry registration exercise will close at noon on Thursday, September 17, 2026.
The university’s official admission notice states that submission of application forms will close at exactly 12 noon on September 17. The deadline applies to candidates participating in the 2026/2027 admission screening exercise.
The screening exercise covers both UTME and Direct Entry candidates. UNIOSUN has also stated that Direct Entry candidates, including those applying through relevant qualifications such as IJMB, are expected to participate in the admission screening process.
Candidates seeking admission through UTME are required to meet the university’s eligibility conditions, while prospective Direct Entry applicants must satisfy the requirements applicable to their admission route. UNIOSUN’s undergraduate admission information also states that candidates must pass the university’s aptitude test or Post-UTME screening.
The university has advised prospective applicants to complete their applications before the deadline rather than waiting until the final hours of the exercise. Candidates who have not submitted their forms by the stated closing time risk missing the opportunity to participate in the 2026/2027 screening exercise.
Applicants are also expected to provide accurate information during registration and ensure that the details submitted correspond with their academic and JAMB records. The university’s official Post-UTME notice provides the applicable payment and application information for candidates.
UNIOSUN’s official notice lists a N3,000 portal access fee and a N2,000 Post-UTME screening fee, with payments to be made through the Remita Web Pay platform.
With the deadline set for 12 noon on September 17, prospective students who intend to seek admission into Osun State University for the 2026/2027 academic session should complete their applications before the portal closes.
Candidates can obtain the latest application requirements and admission information through UNIOSUN’s official website
