Eligibility Requirements
To be considered for the FAO Internship Program 2025, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Be enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or postgraduate degree program at a recognized institution (listed in the IAU/UNESCO database) or be a recent graduate.
Specialize in a field relevant to FAO’s work.
Have working knowledge of at least one FAO official language: English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, or Russian. Knowledge of an additional FAO language is an advantage.
Be a national of an FAO Member Nation.
Be between 21 and 30 years old at the time of application.
Demonstrate the ability to work in an international, multicultural environment with strong communication skills.
Not have immediate family members (parents or siblings) employed by FAO under any type of contractual arrangement.
Hold a valid residence or immigration status for the proposed duty station before the internship begins.
