Ben Arikpo is a Sociologist/Applied Psychologist, Social Worker and Special Needs Practitioner with over 30 years’ experience in the field. Ben is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Dyslexia Foundation Nigeria which he co-founded with his wife Felicia in response to their struggle with helping their child overcome dyslexia, ADHD and cognitive skills weaknesses. He is also the Director of Operations & Quality Control of the Brain Training and Development Centre (BrainRx Nigeria) a cognitive skills development franchise from the United States. Ben is passionate about Special Needs Education (SNE) including creating awareness for dyslexia in Nigeria because of his conviction that if he hadn’t found out what was wrong with his son, he might have given up.
