The Federal College of Education (Technical), Umunze, Anambra State, has received a total of ₦8,726,600 from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The disbursement, made on April 14, 2026, benefitted 56 student applicants of the institution, covering their academic statutory charges and other approved fees.
According to the institution, the intervention is aimed at easing the financial burden on students and ensuring uninterrupted academic activities for beneficiaries.
The college noted that the support aligns with the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope agenda in the education sector, which seeks to improve access to quality education through student-focused financial assistance.
Management expressed appreciation for the initiative, stating that the intervention would significantly support students in pursuing their academic goals without financial constraints.
