The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially commenced the sale of application documents for the 2026 Direct Entry programme.
In a notice posted on its official X account, JAMB announced that registration began on Monday, 2 March 2026, and will run until Saturday, 25 April 2026. The Board stressed that the entire process, including the purchase of e-PINs and application documents, is restricted exclusively to its accredited state and zonal offices nationwide.
The Direct Entry pathway enables candidates with recognised qualifications, such as National Diploma (ND), National Certificate in Education (NCE), Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB),
A-Level certificates, and other approved
equivalents — to secure admission directly into 200 level of university programmes without sitting for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
The exercise follows the conclusion of the 2026 UTME registration, which closed on 28 February.
