The Katsina State Institute of Technology and Management has received a NELFUND disbursement of ₦6,137,700 for the 2025/2026 academic session, providing financial support for 103 students of the institution.
According to the disbursement record, the funds were credited on May 7, 2026, and are designated to cover statutory charges for the benefiting students.
The intervention is aimed at easing the financial burden on students and ensuring uninterrupted access to higher education. By covering essential institutional charges, the disbursement enables beneficiaries to continue their academic pursuits without financial constraints.
The funding forms part of the Federal Government’s commitment to expanding access to education through the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda.
The latest disbursement underscores ongoing efforts to provide financial assistance to eligible students across tertiary institutions nationwide, ensuring that economic challenges do not hinder educational advancement.

I’m a nelfund beneficiary. And 20000 is not enough for my monthly life as student.
Thank you for reaching out to us and we certainly hear you as the cost of living is astronomically high nowadays. We guess the challenge in raising the monthly allowance may be the resultant stretch on funds but we are certainly not in a position to speak on behalf of NELFUND. All the best.
