The Nigerian Education Loan Fund has disbursed a total of ₦10,025,050 to support 169 students of the Federal College of Forestry for the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to details of the intervention, the payment, made on March 13, 2026, covers tuition and other statutory charges for the beneficiaries, enabling them to continue their academic programmes without financial disruption.
The fund noted that the disbursement is part of its ongoing efforts to expand access to tertiary education and reduce the financial burden on students across the country.
With this intervention, the 169 students are expected to proceed with their studies under improved financial conditions, reflecting the broader objective of supporting educational continuity and inclusion.
The development underscores the growing role of NELFUND in financing higher education in Nigeria, particularly for students in specialised institutions such as forestry and environmental studies.
