The University of Lagos (UNILAG) is proud to announce that six of its outstanding undergraduates have secured places in the highly competitive Bridge Fellowship Programme, one of Nigeria’s foremost leadership development initiatives.
Drawn from a nationwide pool of over 8,000 applicants, these students emerged successful in a fellowship that records an acceptance rate of less than 5%, underscoring the exceptional calibre of UNILAG scholars.
The newly inducted Bridge Fellows are:

Kehinde Kadiri – Department of Building
Ugonma Akanwa – Department of Building
Al-Ameen Abolare – Electrical & Electronics Engineering
Treasure Adeolu – Mechanical Engineering
Temitope Aiyebogan – Systems Engineering
Their selection reflects UNILAG’s enduring culture of academic excellence, innovation, and leadership development, preparing students to shape Africa’s future through service and transformative impact.
In her congratulatory message, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Folasade Ogunsola, OON, FAS, praised the achievement of the fellows, describing it as a testament to the university’s commitment to nurturing leaders who will drive change at both national and global levels.
