Chevening is the UK government’s international scholarships scheme aimed at developing global leaders. It is funded by the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and partner organisations.

🌍 About the Chevening Programme

Chevening offers a life-changing academic and cultural experience. Scholars will:

Study a fully funded Master’s degree at any UK university.

Network with global professionals and fellow scholars.

Experience UK culture and develop academic and professional skills.

Join a global alumni network of over 50,000 leaders.

✅ Eligibility Criteria

To apply for a Chevening Scholarship, you must:

Be a citizen of a Chevening-eligible country or territory.

Return to your home country for a minimum of two years after the scholarship ends.

Have at least two years (2,800 hours) of work experience.

Hold an undergraduate degree that meets UK Master’s programme requirements.

Apply to three eligible UK university courses and secure an unconditional offer from at least one by July 9, 2026.

🎓 Scholarship Benefits

Chevening Scholarships are fully funded and include:

Full tuition fees at any UK university

Economy class travel to and from the UK

Arrival and departure allowances

Visa application cost coverage

Monthly stipend for accommodation and living expenses (varies by location)

TB test reimbursement (up to £75, if required)

Access to exclusive networking events, mentorship, and workshops

📆 Chevening Application Timeline

August 5, 2025: Applications open (12:00 UTC)

October 7, 2025: Applications close (12:00 UTC)

October – January: Eligibility screening and review

Mid-February 2026: Shortlisting for interviews

March – April 2026: Interviews at UK embassies/high commissions

Mid-June 2026: Final results announced

July 9, 2026: Deadline to submit at least one unconditional UK university offer
