Applications are now open for the 2026/2027 Holland (NL) Scholarships.
The NL Scholarship (formerly known as the Holland Scholarship) is designed for international students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who wish to pursue their Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the Netherlands.
This scholarship is financed by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, together with Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences.
🎓 Scholarship Value
The scholarship amounts to €5,000, which you will receive in the first year of your studies.
Note: This is not a full-tuition scholarship.
✅ Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the NL Scholarship, you must:
Have a non-EEA nationality.
Apply for a full-time bachelor’s or master’s programme at one of the participating Dutch higher education institutions.
Meet the specific admission requirements of the institution of your choice (check the university’s official website for details).
Not hold a degree from any educational institution in the Netherlands.
