At the Federal University of Technology and Environmental Sciences Iyin Ekiti, the story of its Faculty of Computing begins with one name — Abiodun Oguntimilehin.
A professor of Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, Oguntimilehin currently serves as the pioneer Dean of the Faculty, bringing nearly two decades of experience in teaching, research, and academic leadership into shaping one of the institution’s foundational faculties.
His academic journey reflects consistency and depth. He earned his Ph.D. and M.Tech in Computer Science from the Federal University of Technology Akure, after completing his undergraduate studies at Ekiti State University. Long before then, his leadership traits had already emerged from graduating as the best student in secondary school to serving as Senior Prefect.
