Applications are now open for the Social Innovators Programme (SIP) 2026, an initiative by LEAP Africa designed to support and scale impactful social enterprises across the continent.
The 9-month fellowship recognizes the power of social innovation in addressing systemic challenges and promoting sustainable development in Africa. Over the past 13 years, the programme has supported more than 294 young innovators across 14 African countries, collectively impacting over 4 million lives and generating over $7.8 million in funding and revenue.
The programme targets young Africans aged 18 to 35 who are leading social enterprises that address key development challenges in sectors such as agriculture, technology, climate action, sustainable cities, clean energy, and workforce development.
Selected fellows will participate in 4–6 weeks of intensive virtual training, followed by four months of mentorship from experienced professionals. The programme concludes with a physical convening and awards ceremony, where fellows will have the opportunity to pitch their ventures to investors, funders, and policymakers.Healthcare professional jobs
