The Ogun State Polytechnic of Health and Allied Sciences, Ilese-Ijebu, Ogun State, has received a major disbursement from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) for the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to details released by the institution, the sum of ₦305,946,000 was paid to cover institutional fees and statutory charges for 1,034 students who successfully applied for the NELFUND student loan scheme.
The payment, which was made on April 14, 2026, is expected to ease the financial burden on beneficiaries and enable them to continue their academic pursuits without interruption.
The disbursement forms part of the Federal Government’s efforts under the Renewed Hope Agenda to expand access to higher education and provide financial support for students across tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
School authorities noted that the intervention would significantly support students in the health and allied sciences institution by ensuring uninterrupted learning and improved academic stability.
