The Federal College of Forestry, Ibadan, Oyo State, has received a NELFUND disbursement of ₦7,190,500 for the 2025/2026 academic session, providing financial support to 68 students of the institution.
According to details of the disbursement, the funds were paid on April 28, 2026, and are intended to cover the statutory charges of the beneficiaries, ensuring that they can continue their academic programmes without financial interruption.
The intervention is part of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) initiative aimed at expanding access to higher education by easing the financial burden on students across tertiary institutions in the country.
With the latest disbursement, the 68 beneficiaries at the Federal College of Forestry, Ibadan, will be able to pursue their studies under the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope agenda, which seeks to make education more accessible and affordable for Nigerian students.
NELFUND continues to provide financial assistance to eligible students nationwide, supporting the government’s efforts to improve educational opportunities and reduce the impact of economic challenges on learning.
