The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has announced the commencement of a supplementary admission exercise for 2026/2027 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) applicants who participated in the institution’s Post-UTME screening but did not meet the cut-off marks for their preferred courses.
According to the university, limited vacancies are available in selected programmes across five faculties, while courses not listed have already been fully subscribed.

The university invited interested candidates who wish to change to any of the listed programmes to apply through its Change of Course application portal at no cost.
Registration Procedure
Eligible candidates should log on to changeprgm.unilag.edu.ng and follow the steps below:
1. Click on Prospective Student Login.
2. Enter your UTME Registration Number in the space provided and click the “Login” button to proceed.
3. Upon successful login, carefully read the information displayed on the application interface.
4. After reading the information displayed in the pop-up notification, close the message and select the appropriate option on the application interface to continue.
5. Complete the change of programme application by following subsequent instructions displayed on the portal to select your preferred programme, confirm your eligibility and complete the application process.
6. Carefully review all information entered before submitting your application.
7. Submit and retain your application details.
Important Information
The university advised candidates to ensure that they meet the prescribed JAMB and O’Level admission requirements for their intended programmes before submitting an application.
It noted that submission of an application for a change of programme does not guarantee admission, stressing that admission would be based on the institution’s approved criteria and the availability of spaces.
UNILAG added that candidates who secure admission through the process would be required to effect a Change of Course with the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to ensure that their admission letters reflect the approved programme of study.
The institution stated that the minimum Post-UTME score required for eligibility is 12.
It also warned that submission of more than one application would result in disqualification.
The application portal is already open and will close on Friday, September 25, 2026.
Applicants were advised to carefully review all admission requirements before submitting their applications.
