Government Day Secondary School, Karu, Abuja, has emerged winner of the Season 9 Tournament of Champions of Nigeria Info’s I Beg To Differ competition.
The Abuja-based school clinched the top prize of ₦5 million after weeks of competition, finishing ahead of Square College, Lagos, and Fountain School, Abuja.
Square College came second and received ₦2.5 million, while Fountain School secured third place with a ₦1 million prize.
The final podium featured six students who competed for the three winning schools, bringing the Season 9 tournament to a close.
Nigeria Info, which hosted the competition, also congratulated the participating students, schools, teachers, parents and supporters for their involvement in the tournament.
The organisers also acknowledged the sponsors of the season, including Julius Berger Nigeria, Wakanow and Card Centre, for supporting the competition.
Government Day Secondary School, Karu, Abuja, will take home the biggest share of the prize money as the Season 9 champions.
