The Nigerian Education Loan Fund has disbursed ₦36,485,000 to Edo State College of Nursing Sciences to cover the statutory charges of 53 verified students for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The disbursement, made on April 29, 2026, covers 100 percent of the statutory fees for all verified beneficiaries under the student loan scheme.
According to the announcement, the intervention is aimed at ensuring that eligible students continue their education without financial interruption, in line with the Federal Government’s Renewed Hope Agenda for improving access to higher education.
The payment is part of NELFUND’s ongoing nationwide effort to provide financial support to qualified students in tertiary institutions, helping to reduce the burden of tuition and other statutory charges while expanding access to quality education.
