The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has released the deployment details for the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream II corps members posted to Niger and Sokoto states.
The announcement, shared on the NYSC’s official X handle on Sunday, stated that prospective corps members deployed to the two states can now print their call-up letters.
“2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Deployment has been released for Niger and Sokoto States.
“PCMs posted to these states have been enabled to print their Call-Up Letters,” the NYSC said.
The development comes after the NYSC extended the commencement date of the orientation course for corps members deployed to the two states due to ongoing renovation works at their orientation camps.
Following the extension, the orientation course is scheduled to commence on Wednesday, August 12, 2026.
The cut-off and swearing-in ceremony will be held on Friday, August 14, while the closing ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday, September 1.
The NYSC had attributed the adjustment to ongoing renovation works at the orientation camps being carried out by the respective state governments.
The Corps advised prospective corps members posted to Niger and Sokoto states to plan their journeys accordingly and avoid travelling at night.
