A six-year-old Nigerian pupil, Ugwoezuonu Ogechi Zara, has earned a full ₦21 million scholarship after achieving a perfect score of 100 per cent in the primary category of the National Mathematics Competition organised by the Mathematics Association of Nigeria (MAN).
The remarkable performance saw Zara emerge as the overall winner of the competition, securing a six-year scholarship to Evergreen College, Enugu, where she will continue her secondary education.
Education advocate Alex Onyia, who shared the achievement, described Zara’s success as a testament to the exceptional talent among Nigerian children when given the right opportunities to excel.
