The Lagos State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education has announced the release of the second batch of admission lists for model colleges and upgraded secondary schools.
The announcement was made on Wednesday, September 10, by the Ministry’s Deputy Director of Public Affairs, Kayode Sutton.
According to the Ministry, parents and guardians of applicants can begin checking their wards’ admission status from Thursday, September 11, 2025. T
The lists will be accessible at the candidates’ schools of choice, the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education, as well as the Lagos State Examinations Board.
In its official statement, the Ministry congratulated successful candidates and urged parents to visit the designated centres for confirmation. “We are pleased to announce the release of the second batch of admission lists for Model Colleges and Upgraded Secondary Schools starting Thursday, September 11, 2025. Parents/Guardians of prospective wards can check at their ward’s schools of choice, the Ministry and the Lagos State Examinations Board for their admission status,” the release read in part.
The release of this second batch follows the earlier publication of the first list, reflecting the state government’s phased approach to the admission process.
The Ministry emphasized that the exercise is part of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration’s commitment to transparency, meritocracy, and equitable access to quality secondary education across Lagos State.
More batches are expected to be released in the coming weeks to accommodate all qualified applicants.
