The World Economic Forum (WEF) has announced the opening of applications for its 2026 Early Career Program, offering young professionals from around the world an opportunity to work with top leaders in politics, business, and civil society. The programme provides 15 internship tracks across multiple global offices.
Selected participants will receive a full-time, six-month onsite employment contract, with competitive monthly compensation and additional benefits. Positions are available in the Forum’s offices in Geneva (Switzerland), Mumbai (India), Beijing (China), and Tokyo (Japan).

Participants will collaborate with Forum stakeholders, engage in leadership development initiatives, and support strategic projects across various global sectors.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
A bachelor’s degree and 1–2 years of relevant work experience
Ability to commit to a six-month onsite contract
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Adaptability and the ability to thrive in new environments
Team-oriented mindset with strong relationship-building ability
Interest or experience in programme management, leadership development, or community management
Experience in professional writing, digital publishing, or content creation
Excellent command of written and spoken English
Comfort with digital tools; proficiency in MS Office and CRM platforms (Salesforce experience is an asset)
Benefits
Participants will receive competitive monthly compensation based on their office location:
Switzerland: CHF 4,500 (salary + medical allowance)
India: INR 91,600
China: CNY 12,500
Japan: JPY 333,333
