About the Federal Government YIEDEP Grant 2025

The Youth Economic Intervention and De-Radicalization Programme (YIEDEP) is a national initiative aimed at engaging young Nigerians in productive economic activities to foster nation-building, economic growth, poverty reduction, and social stability.

The programme seeks to mitigate youth unemployment by providing access to:

Business financing opportunities

Enterprise development services

Skills training and mentorship

Economic incentives to support entrepreneurship

Through YIEDEP, beneficiaries are empowered to become entrepreneurs, job creators, income earners, and wealth builders across various sectors of the economy.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for the Federal Government YIEDEP Grant 2025, applicants must:

Be a citizen of Nigeria

Be aged 18–35 years

Possess a valid National Identity Number (NIN) and Bank Verification Number (BVN)

Be interested in or actively engaged in one of the following sectors:

Agriculture

Fashion

Technology (ICT)

Entertainment

Sports

Renewable energy

Other productive businesses

Hold or be willing to open an account with Lotus Bank, Keystone Bank, or Fidelity Bank

Be available to participate in the required training and mentorship programmes

Benefits of the YIEDEP Programme

Selected beneficiaries will receive:

Grant funding ranging from ₦50,000 to ₦500,000

Access to structured training and mentorship

Business development and empowerment support

Opportunities for sustainable income generation

How to Apply on the YIEDEP Registration Portal (Step-by-Step)

Interested and qualified applicants should follow the steps below:

1. Visit the official YIEDEP homepage

2. Click on the “Register Now” button at the top-right corner of the page

3. Complete the online registration form with your personal details, including:

Full name

Address

Phone number

State of origin

Local Government Area (LGA)

BVN

NIN

4. Submit the application

5. Upon successful registration, a Membership Code will be displayed on your screen

This membership code will be required to complete your registration with the partner banks.

3. The bank will assist you in creating a dedicated account for the programme

This account will be used for grant disbursement and programme-related transactions.
