As the Babcock Postgraduate Convocation continues, the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, graced the event alongside his entourage and was warmly welcomed by the university management.
In his remarks, the University’s Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Afolarin Olutunde Ojewole, recognised the presence of the governor and respectfully sought his permission to continue with the proceedings that were already underway before his arrival.
Recall that the university is currently convocating 665 postgraduate candidates across different categories: 70 PGD graduates, 391 Master’s degree holders, 21 MPhil graduates, and 183 PhD graduates.
Currently, the governor has taken over the presentation of medals and the congratulation of successful graduates. In return, the graduands bow in respect and pose for photographs with him.
Stay tuned as the event continues to unfold.
