Global Teacher Prize Opens Nominations, Invites Public to Recognise Outstanding Educator
The organisers of the Global Teacher Prize have called on members of the public to nominate exceptional teachers whose innovative classroom practices, projects, or initiatives are making a lasting impact on learners and their communities.
According to the organisers, the initiative seeks to recognise educators who are transforming education through creativity, dedication, and measurable impact.
Selected nominees will become part of the Global Teacher Prize community, where they can connect with educators from around the world, gain international recognition, and access opportunities to expand the reach of their work. Outstanding teachers will also have the opportunity to compete for the prestigious Global Teacher Prize, which carries a grand award of US$1 million.
The organisers noted that the nomination process takes less than a minute and encouraged students, parents, colleagues, school leaders, and members of the public to put forward deserving teachers.
Interested individuals can submit nominations through the official nomination form: https://forms.gle/fvfV3v8jghVNmt2u8.
The Global Teacher Prize, established by the Varkey Foundation in collaboration with GEMS Education, celebrates teachers who have made outstanding contributions to the teaching profession and to society.
