The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that the 2026 Batch B Stream II Orientation Course will commence on August 5 across the country.
In a statement issued by its Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, the scheme said the three-week orientation exercise will hold simultaneously in the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) from Wednesday, August 5, to Tuesday, August 25, 2026.
The NYSC disclosed that prospective corps members can now access their call-up numbers through their dashboards, while call-up letters will be uploaded in due course.
Director-General of the NYSC, Brig.-Gen. Olakunle Nafiu, congratulated all prospective corps members mobilised for the 2026 Batch B Stream II service year on the successful completion of their studies in higher institutions within and outside Nigeria.
He urged them to observe all safety precautions while travelling to their respective orientation camps, advising them to avoid night journeys and comply with all travel and security guidelines.
The announcement follows the successful completion of the 2026 Batch B Stream I orientation exercise, which held nationwide from June 10 to June 30. However, the exercise in Niger State was rescheduled and conducted from July 7 to July 27 at the NYSC Orientation Camp in Kubwa, Abuja, after the state’s permanent camp sustained damage.
