The Management of the Champions Educational Foundation (CEF) has announced the call for entry submission for its 4th national essay competition.
The annual national essay competition started in 2021, which is part of the organization’s philosophy in bringing quality education to the nooks and cranny of Nigeria, aimed at promoting creativity particularly writing skills among young people in the era of generative Artificial Intelligence. Participants are going to win cash prizes and get rewarded for their storytelling prowess.
According to the management, all entries from undergraduate students in tertiary institutions in Nigeria will be accepted without age limits.
Noting that the topic for the essay is titled; “Harnessing artificial intelligence for sustainable development in Nigeria.”
Benefits
The management has provided a sum of #325,000 for the top three entries. The overall winner will be rewarded with #150,000 naira only, the first runner-up will get #100,000 naira and the second runner-up be rewarded with #75,000 naira only. Also, top 10 participants will be inducted into CEF One-year fellowship program to foster mentorship and career development.
Eligibility
The entry is opened for undergraduate students in tertiary institutions in Nigeria. There is no age limits.
Application process
The management accepts entries that are original and already used or published elsewhere will not be reviewed. AI generated contents will be automatically rejected.
All entries should not exceed 2000 words (PDF only) and information such as the name, institution and contact details of the writer should be included.

Deadline
Submission of entry is closed at 11:59 pm; January 20, 2025. Late submission will not be entertained.
