The Innovation and Technology Management Office (ITMO) at the University of Lagos (UNILAG), in partnership with the African Technology & Innovation Institute (ATII) and Sabi Africa Network, is proud to unveil the “From Africa to the World” Innovation Series—a new virtual platform celebrating Africa’s unique role in shaping global innovation.
Theme: “Sustainable Innovations: Harnessing Indigenous African Science for the Future”
This inaugural edition will explore how indigenous African knowledge intersects with modern science to drive sustainable, culturally grounded, and eco-friendly innovations that address today’s global challenges.
Keynote Speaker: Professor Rose-Margaret Ekeng-Itua — Founder of ATII and Sabi Africa Network, and named among Silicon Valley’s Top 100 Most Influential People. She will lead the conversation toward actionable innovation and African-led impact.
