The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has extended the sale of Direct Entry (DE) application forms for the 2026 admission exercise to May 8, 2026. The extension, according to the Board, is to ensure that no eligible candidate is denied access to tertiary education opportunities in Nigeria.
JAMB also announced the approval of five additional registration centres to ease congestion and improve access for prospective applicants. The newly approved centres include:
Centre for Open and Distance Learning (CODL), Mini Campus, University of Ilorin, Kwara State
Bells University of Technology, Km 8, Idiroko Road, Ota, Ogun State
Olabisi Onabanjo University Centre 1, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State
Prof. Usman E-Learning Centre, Federal College of Education (Special), Oyo, Oyo State
Human Development Initiatives (Grace House), No. 2, Iwaya, Sabo, opposite Onike Girls Junior High School, Onike, Lagos State (commencing operations April 30, 2026)
The Board further reminded candidates that its offices nationwide, including Professional Registration Centres (PRCs) and Professional Testing Centres (PTCs), remain open for the ongoing registration exercise.
JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, Fabian Benjamin, Ph.D., said the move aligns with the Board’s commitment to expanding access to higher education across the country.
