Hiring: Lead Accountant at Generation Capital Limited

Salary: ₦250,000 – ₦350,000
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Lead Accountant to oversee the company’s financial operations, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and drive compliance with regulatory standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
● Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate financial statements and management reports.
● Supervise and review general ledger activities, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.
● Lead loan accounting processes, including loan disbursements,
● Conduct periodic financial audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
● Ensure timely preparation and submission of statutory and regulatory reports (e.g., VAT, SCUML, and other compliance requirements).

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
● Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
● Minimum of 4–6 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in financial services.
● Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
● Experience with loan accounting and portfolio management is highly preferred.
● Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
● Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
