Following my earlier post, let me try explaining this properly so everyone understands.
JAMB has said that running two academic programmes at the same time is not allowed.
However, this does NOT mean that students who are already in school cannot register for or write UTME.
👉 If you are already in a university, polytechnic, or college, you can still register for UTME, sit for the exam, and your result will be released normally.
During your registration (capturing and thumbprint), you will only be required to agree to JAMB’s admission guidelines. Something like a declaration.
*So what is JAMB really saying?*
It’s simple:
✅ You are free to write JAMB.
✅ You are eligible for admission.
But…
❌ You cannot process or accept admission in two schools at the same time.
This means that if you decide to continue with a new admission after your UTME result is out, you must first withdraw from your current school before proceeding.
