The Tutor-General/Permanent Secretary, Education District II, Mr. Omotayo Layemo Sanni, has further advanced the ongoing collaboration drive with Local Government Chairmen through courtesy visits to the Chairmen of Ikorodu Local Government, Honourable Abdullateef Ladega; Ikorodu North LCDA, Mayor Ibrahim Apanisile; Imota LCDA, Honourable Ayodele Benson.
The visits were aimed at deepening partnership and consolidating support for the continuous improvement of teaching and learning in public schools within Education District II.
Mr. Sanni commended the Local Governments for their sustained contributions to educational development and called for strengthened collaboration in critical areas such as school infrastructure, sporting activities, merit awards, academic competitions, and other student development initiatives.
He reaffirmed the commitment of the District to sustained engagement with Local Governments to improve learning outcomes and promote the holistic development of students in Lagos State public secondary schools.
The Chairmen, in their respective responses, appreciated the initiative and pledged continued support towards the growth and development of education in their jurisdictions.
